DevOps Engineer

Currently we are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our Prague office to make the team even stronger.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to work in a distributed DevOps team. Main part of the team is located in Prague. Team performs DevOps function for multiple strategic bank applications targeting risks calculation, transformation, storage and reporting. The candidate will be responsible for full DevOps stack including investigation of issues, troubleshooting, monitoring, automation, ad-hoc configuration and configuration management, continuous integration and deployment, as well as improvements of currently used processes. Constant tight cooperation with Dev/Test teams, as well as communication with customer is a regular part of team’s work.


  • Managing development infrastructure;
  • Hardware allocation and monitoring;
  • Configuration management; DEV/SIT/OPT and UAT of Credit Risk applications;
  • Development of automated tools for testing;
  • Release and daily processes (release build out, environment testing, deployment, configuration, etc.);
  • Infrastructure and support of whole range of development streams;
  • Help in defining, designing and implementing IT and Business processes under Lean principles.


  • Advance knowledge of Linux and/or MS Windows Server (2008, 2012);
  • Experience in OpenShift, build tools (Ant, Maven, Gradle);
  • Experience in SQL;
  • Automation/Scripting (PowerShell and/or Python) – intermediate (+real experience in automation via any available means – “automation oriented mindset”);
  • Experience working with any configuration management/continuous integration/delivery systems;
  • Experience in Containerization/Virtualization of applications;
  • Real experience in troubleshooting/root cause analysis;
  • Must be able to liaise between onshore and offshore teams to ensure successful collaboration and daily operations.

Nice to have

  • ITIL – understanding of what it is, how it is used;
  • Experience in IIS (or other Web server);
  • Jira (or any similar bug tracking systems) – experience in usage;
  • TeamCity (or other build systems) - experience in usage;
  • Monitoring - experience in configuration/maintenance;
  • XML/XSLT - Active Directory;
  • Docker.
