Currently we are looking for a Global Mobility Tax Manager for our Frankfurt office to make the team even stronger.

As a Global Mobility Tax Manager, you will manage the tax aspects of our (mostly European) cross border assignments. You will support the Global Mobility framework, manage (maintain and when necessary set up) global mobility tax compliance processes and being responsible for employee tax experience. The role will have the responsibility to work closely with other departments on mobility tax and HR operation compliance, develop and adjust processes when needed and manage service provider relationships to ensure compliance in the host and target countries.


  • Cover mostly European assignments and report to the European Tax Director. Work closely with a few members of the Global Mobility team;
  • Manage global mobility tax compliance processes and be responsible for employee tax experience (exit and entry tax briefings, assignment agreements, mobility payroll, tax equalization, etc.);
  • Work closely with finance and HR colleagues on mobility tax and HR operation compliance and develop and adjust processes when needed;
  • Manage service provider relationships to ensure compliance in the host and target countries;
  • Provide timely response to enquiries from the business and deliver tax solutions in an easy to understand language;
  • Keep an eye on changes in tax legislation in Europe and assess the need to amend our processes;
  • Help your colleagues to better understand global mobility tax matters;
  • Advise other departments of applicable local tax rules to ensure tax implications are addressed early in their processes;
  • Ensure tax calculations prepared and returns filed in a timely manner;
  • Be our main professional contact for Tax Authorities for global mobility tax matters;
  • Involve (screen, contract etc) local external advisors if and when necessary;
  • Ensure that supporting documentation is available for the (tax) audit.


  • BA/BS degree in accounting, tax, finance, business or related fields, additional tax qualification is a plus;
  • 5+ years of global mobility tax experience in corporate environment and/or Big 4 accounting firm;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and German;
  • Excellent team player with collaborative approach but at the same time you can carry out research, build an idea, own it and lead a team to implement it;
  • Manage competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment;
  • Excellent computer expertise (including knowledge of tax software);
  • “Hands-on mentality” - take ownership of tasks and have the ability to adopt to changes;
  • Able to work cooperatively with other members of the tax department and to build professional relationships within the company assisting others to accomplish related job results as and where needed.   • Be familiar with internet-based tax research techniques;
  • Excellent project management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.
