DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Scrum/Agile) for our London office to make the team even stronger.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work onsite with one of our leading Banking & Finance Services customers. You will be embedded with a high-profile client and by working collaboratively with both client stakeholders and EPAM delivery teams ensure appropriate technical solutions are leveraged and projects across several applications are successfully delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate proactively with the Product Owner (from London) and Scrum Masters, and Dev and QA teams (from Ukraine and the US) to reach a common understanding of the solution to address the needs. Manage requirements communication considering the project’s specifics and stakeholders’ preferences;
  • Moderate requirements refinement meetings and workshops;
  • Manage solution scope, detect and track changes. Manage requirements related conflicts and issues up to resolution;
  • Help the PO to prioritize requirements and manage their allocation. Define quality attributes (non-functional requirements) including external interfaces and constraints;
  • Monitor solution implementation and conduct internal and external solution acceptance. Manage solution acceptance criteria.

Requirements

  • Previous Consulting experience in a track record of managing Senior Stakeholders (technical and non-technical);
  • Demonstrable experience in business analysis or product management, including defining solutions from idea to production;
  • Clear understanding of principles and specifics of software development methodologies – Scrum etc;
  • Extensive knowledge of business analysis activities and techniques;
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools (at least JIRA & Confluence);
  • Knowledge of prototyping tools;
  • Strong ownership. Simultaneous handling and fast processing of multiple tasks;
  • Experience of working with Near / Offshore teams.

Nice to have

  • Good knowledge in at least one Business Domain (desirable): finance, accounting, media, travel, logistics;
  • Knowledge of product management best practices (desirable);
  • Suggest improvement methods and appropriate solution options.
