EPAM is currently looking to grow its Canadian Delivery practice, specifically in Toronto. At EPAM, we consider the Delivery Director position key to the success of every project that we accomplish. The ideal candidate will be a mix of Solution Architect, Program Manager and people leader. This role will work hand-in-hand with EPAM’s Account Managers and our clients to ensure our services are delivered successfully. The Delivery Manager translates the vision of the work into a comprehensive plan and drives execution, while building a strong relationship with the client.

Work with Account Managers and will be accountable for all aspects of delivery;
Responsible to run discovery and consulting engagements alongside other EPAM members from Account Managers to Solution Architects to Practice heads;
Provide sales assistance as a technology expert and Pre-sales supervision, coordination and execution;
Work with Technical Architecture and Estimations validation;
Assist in setting up the team and kicking-off the project;
Work with all aspects of on-going Program and Project Management;
Manage client expectations from deliverables perspective;
Work clos with our Staffing coordination team and resource managers;
Create and manage career development plans, compensation etc (People Management).
Strong project or program management skills in a highly technical environment;
Experience working in the Retail/E-commerce industry required;
Digital Technology experience with tools such as Hybris, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and Java, as well as others, required;
Experience working with globally distributed teams of 50+ resources;
Additional experience in risks management is a plus;
Highly Technical consultant with an engineering or Solution architecture background;
A thorough understanding of how to plan, resource, and deliver large-scale technical projects;
Proven experience managing/coordinating portfolio of projects;
Experience working in a presales environment from solutioning to client communication;
Experience in kicking off new projects;
Good knowledge of software development lifecycle, methodologies (Agile, Kan-ban, Waterfall) and IT roles;
Excellent verbal and written communication skill;
Good business communication and time management skills.
