Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support the customer’s digital brands/sites, environments and centralized services;
  • Event Management: monitor network, server and web applications to ensure high availability;
  • Incident Management, Problem Management: open, update and close trouble tickets with detailed information relating to trouble reported;
  • Incident Management, Problem Management: own production operational issues for products by issuing initial response, data gathering/diagnosis, tracking, and resolution where possible;
  • Incident Management: perform the role of an Incident Manager during Systems Events;
  • Knowledge Management: develop and maintain a working knowledge of a wide range of applications and systems;
  • Open and monitor the status of cases with vendors and service providers;
  • Change Management: assist Development and Infrastructure Groups with scheduled and emergency change management tasks;
  • Follow standards for communications with business involving operational issues;
  • Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management: change requests and incident ticket handling for the remaining Infrastructure Teams;
  • Follow notification and escalation procedures;
  • Follow standards for communications with business involving operational issues.

Requirements

  • Experience in operations, preferably including 24x7;
  • Knowledge of the following technologies: AWS Private Cloud, Citrix NetScaler/Cisco ACE load balancers, Apache, PHP;
  • Knowledge of the following tools and databases: Subversion, Jenkins, Ansible (including custom modules and plugins), Puppet, ad-hoc shell scripts, Sumo Logic/New Relic (APM and Server Monitoring), ITSM, CentOS;
  • Good command of English: Intermediate (B1) level.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Akamai (HTTP/Site Delivery products);
  • Experience in DNS management, SSL certs;
  • ITIL/ITSM understanding.
