DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Support Engineer (Windows/Azure) for our Wroclaw office to make the team even stronger.

The role is an Application and Cloud Support Engineer position responsible for the continuous support, maintenance, improvement and automation of development and operation of the cloud-based infrastructure and web portal.
The primary purpose of the Application and Cloud Support Engineer is to implement a support and maintenance strategy encompassing the build and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and Sitecore CMS, including an automation and improvement of the whole system.

Responsibilities

  • 24/7 (on-call/standby) support & maintain MS Azure cloud-based infrastructure;
  • 24/7 (on-call/standby) support & maintain web portal based on Sitecore CMS;
  • Support the platform, using technical analysis to improve the reliability and scalability of the whole system;
  • Work closely with developers and QA team to define building blocks and improvements;
  • Write clean, well-structured and maintainable code;
  • Actively participate in planning and management of platform support process;
  • Regularly check the monitor alarms, diagnoze the symptoms, analyze the root causes and make preventive plans;
  • Explore new latest relevant, tools, methodologies and processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in working with Windows Server based infrastructure;
  • Hands-on scripting and coding experience in PowerShell;
  • Experience with MS Azure IaaS and PaaS;
  • Experience in application support;
  • Experience in infrastructure support;
  • Experience working with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc. is a plus;
  • Experience in Sitecore CMS is a plus;
  • General knowledge of ITIL and ITSM is a plus.
