  • 7+ years’ in a Developer, SysAdmin, DevOps, role managing complex environments;
  • Experience managing multiple clients in IT services area;
  • Capable to manage more than 20 resources team;
  • Self-motivated, self-driven and capable to understand team needs;
  • Proactive and capable to manage resources issues in day-to-day;
  • Proven experience managing customer, escalations, contracts, rotation, etc;
  • Proven track record of project and program management, as well as organization unit management;
  • Excellent ability to identify specific customer needs and drive closure to identified customer issues;
  • Excellent ability to build a strong team environment;
  • Able to coach and mentor others on understanding the customer and identifying specific needs;
  • ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or higher);
  • Creative and mature with a “can do”, proactive attitude and an ability to continuously “scan” the environment, identifying and taking advantage of opportunities for improvement;
  • Detail-oriented, capable of investigating escalated incidents and requests, communicate professionally in a timely manner, with the ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly;
  • Capable to create unambiguous and high-quality deliverables;
  • Experience managing human factor and delivery complexity without impacts;
  • Capable to generate realistic mid and long-term roles;
  • Able to manage constant changes and effectively deploy new services.

Nice to have

  • Networking:
    • Experience in technical support, professional services, engineering, sustaining engineering, or systems engineering;
    • Extensive networking knowledge;
    • Knowledge of the entire OSI stack knows which protocol relates to which layer;
    • Able to explain the fundamentals of TCP/IP - IP packet headers, the meaning of most important header contents (source/destination IP, protocol);
    • Able to explain IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, including network masks;
    • Able to clearly explain the differences between TCP and UDP and specific use cases for these protocols (justifying those);
    • Knowledge of basic routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP), knowledge of the concept of an Autonomous System and how the Internet operates;
    • Capable of configuring Firewall and NAT for multiple protocol types;
    • Knowledgeable of the foundations of IP telephony (SIP, XMPP, RTP);
    • Advanced email, Anti-spam and account security knowledge;
    • Knowledge of SMTP and IMAP protocols (able to use telnet to send/receive email);
    • Knowledge of common anti-spam technologies (can implement SPF, DKIM, DMARC if requested), aware of basic ML-based anti-spam technologies;
    • Can provide examples of common phishing vectors, tools to reduce the risks of unauthorized data access.
  • Infrastructure:
    • Familiarity with BigQuery, Cloud Storage and Cloud SQL;
    • Experience in technical support: familiarity with case prioritization, SLA compliance, and quality;
    • Coding ability in one or more languages (Java, Python, C++, etc.);
    • Familiarity with software commonly used on VMs (MongoDB, Hadoop, etc.);
    • Experience in deploying and managing distributed systems and clusters;
    • Able to follow and understand a defined ITIL/ITSM process, train other team members, and contribute in process improvement.
