Currently we are looking for a Business Analyst for our Moscow office to make the team even stronger.

Activities on this position will unite two roles: Project Manager and Business Analyst. Business area – Regulations SFTR/EMIR/MIFID/FinfraG. It’s an exciting opportunity to become a part of an international regulatory reporting team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain integrity and continuity of the current international regulatory reporting (SFTR/EMIR/FinfraG);
  • Act as a regulatory reporting subject-matter-expert in stakeholder interactions and be a central point for coordination between end users, Sberbank IT teams, external vendors and trade reporting venues;
  • Solve problems and understand technical design;
  • Fulfill quality assurance function;
  • Identify operational process gaps and offer solutions to improve processes;
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to determine scope, requirements and solutions for assigned projects and ensure execution of objectives;
  • Provide high-level estimates for new business ideas implementation;
  • Communicate progress, issues, solutions to management and business partners.

Requirements

  • Business analysis experience working on regulatory change projects within investment companies across SFTR/EMIR/FinfraG regulatory reporting;
  • Basic understanding of SFTR/EMIR/FinfraG regulations and ability to rapidly pick up new business knowledge in Transaction Reporting and supported asset classes;
  • Understanding of the full front to back impact of new regulations on reference data IT and Operations;
  • Experience working across multiple business areas, including operations, technology, compliance and the front office;
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycles and a familiarity with operational, middle and back office change;
  • Basic business analysis skills such as gathering requirements form stakeholders, documenting project specifications, writing test cases for complex cross-functional processes, testing new development, analytical and logical mindset, ability to interpret a set of technical requirements and develop robust solutions, good understanding of the software development lifecycle, Excel/csv/xml data analysis;
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus;
  • Fluent English;
  • Good knowledge of derivatives market is a must.
