Our client is a major multinational mass media and information firm founded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This organization operates in 100+ countries and has five divisions: Financial and Risk, Legal, Intellectual Property & Science, Tax & Accounting, and Global Growth Organization. As a Project Manager, you will be able to provide second line support services, implement bug fixes, and fix production bugs.
Manage schedules and allocation/distribution of tasks while collaborating with the tech lead;
Review all new bugs from the backlog with readiness to backup defect analyst at daily triage meeting;
Create and update team documents and policies;
Produce business reports (to the product team);
Manage Kanban board and tickets in Jira (check status, ask for updates, push for clarifying/fixing/testing/closing);
Identify/control risks and issues, properly report and escalate them, keep mitigation and resolution on track;
Play point-of-contact role by interacting with and keeping the customer involved and updated;
Assume Scrum master role for the team (status meetings, retro, etc.);
Control/improve team processes, back up team/tech lead in some functions;
Manage proper time reporting for the teammates.
People management experience;
Strong project coordination/management skills;
Understanding of ITIL fundamentals (incident/problem/change management);
