DESCRIPTION


This is a role for a Lead Solution Architect, who will be responsible for Architecture assessment of 5 TR streams and building of roadmap from a technical perspective, close collaboration with TR SME and technical team, codebase assessment and onboarding of team`s SA. Also, there is an assumption that this role will help to improve cross-team collaboration in case of dependencies. Our client is a multinational mass media and information company with operational headquarters in London, UK. It enables professionals in the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, and media markets to make the decisions that matter most, all powered by the world's most trusted news organization.

The project aims for a feature development, re-engineering and enhancing the existing core features for client’s risk intelligence applications suite which comprises of capability to process Know-Your-Client (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) forms.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end solutions – from solution design to delivery – new components, with a practical whilst strategic approach. Setup architecture governance on the project level to ensure implementation aligned with the initial design;
  • Adhere to the agreed technology stack and practices of the organization, and actively contribute to them;
  • Focus on quality, time and budget constraints;
  • Communicate effectively within the team and business stakeholders;
  • Work with global diverse teams.

Requirements

  • Architecture - experience designing complex applications, platforms. Knowledge and experience in SOA, Microservice architectures, RESTful APIs;
  • AWS Cloud advanced knowledge and experience (experience in design of cost-efficient solutions in AWS, experience with AWS PAAS services - S3, lambda, API gateway, SNS, SQS, etc), data storage solutions - RDS, Dynamo, Neptune, ES;
  • Processes – experience with Agile, DevOps, BDD, TDD, CI/CD, on-prem and on the cloud (AWS, GCP), Git, Docker;
  • Leadership - influencer, provides technical leadership for a team of 10-20 team members;
  • Team player - ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals;
  • Proficient in Java;
  • Outstanding work ethic.
