EPAM’s Financial Services Business Unit is looking for exceptionally talented people to join our team of world class engineers in Malaga, Spain. Our clients are some of the world’s largest and most innovative banks, investment banks and wealth management institutions.

We currently have an opening in Malaga, Spain for a Senior .NET Back-end Developer who is willing to contribute to the development of a multi-modular multi-asset classes state-of-the-art Trading System for one of the top-5 US hedge funds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform design, implementation, and unit testing of assigned user stories;
  • Own assigned work, elaborate implementation details, keep close coordination with BAs and QAs to deliver result of a high quality;
  • Responsible for estimation and breakdown into technical tasks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development;
  • Ready to work in distributed agile environment, familiar with scrum methodology;
  • Back-end or Full Stack .NET/C# development;
  • Practical knowledge of design patterns, SOLID;
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (T-SQL);
  • Deep understanding of communication protocols, standards, technologies (SOAP, REST, WCF);
  • Deep knowledge in WCF;
  • Experience with WinForms/WPF;
  • Demonstrate high standards of code and solution design quality;
  • Demonstrate project ownership, not just participation;
  • Excellent understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Software Engineering Process;
  • Good English communication skills (reading, writing and speaking);
  • Open-minded, appreciate direct feedback, and revel in intellectually rigorous environments.
