What You’ll Do

  • Create and communicate a Big Data test strategy around the Hadoop cluster ecosystem and multiple subproject;
  • Ensures data integrity throughout the ETL flow;
  • Validates the complex data flow and transformations of the data;
  • Ensures requirement compliance;
  • Completes manual test rounds and/or implements automated test cases;
  • Provides guidance on establishing data QA process.

What You Have

  • Experience of QA in BI / Data Analysis / Data Warehouse projects;
  • Team player in cross-functional team, good communicator, driven and committed;
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL;
  • Awareness of test automation concepts and tools in BI/DWH;
  • Basic scripting skills in a language of choice (Python, Ruby, Java);
  • Ability to understand ETL code;
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology;
  • Domain knowledge / experience from the financial domain/banking.
