Our ideal candidate will have functioned as a Web Analyst with an interactive marketing and strategy focus in a digital agency environment for at least 3 years. Candidates must have a proven history of applying insightful marketing and analytics strategy foundations for companies. A passion for deep dive analytics, brands, technology, business, innovation, people, measurement, success, and collaboration is paramount. The successful candidate will possess the ability to 1) identify ideas and create opportunities for our clients, 2) optimize budget and programs through innovation and scrutiny to achieve the best possible return on the marketing investment, and 3) to guide clients and our growing team down the right path. This position has two key areas of responsibility designed to support our analytics and our marketing strategy.

What You’ll Do
Creating, recommending, and executing relevant measurement strategies and plans based on client-specific business goals;
Tailoring unique measurement tactics with minor overarching best practices;
Reviewing and interpreting existing data, performing analytics audits, and making recommendations based on track results across multiple marketing channels;
Advising clients and internal teams on interactive marketing and analytics strategy to ensure the most efficient tools and tactics are explored and utilized;
Extracting and analyzing data of Omniture, Google Analytics, and Coremetrics;
Creating and dissecting dashboard reports for various levels of review;
Developing KPIs for each client/brand that aligns with and supports with the business objectives;
Researching and leveraging data, analytics and business intelligence to shape client strategies and key performance indicators;
Synthesizing the big picture and incorporating the details that drive the client and industry specific strategy;
Tag creation and reading tagging design documents;
Executing keyword research, link building, and content recommendations either from provided client data or from independent research;
Developing and coordinating various initiatives including: affiliate or email marketing, media planning/buying/reporting, paid search advertising (i.e. display, general, retargeting);
Managing various external vendors: online - content management, data analysis, research tools, 3rd party ad server; offline - response, letter shop, telemarketing vendors;
Researching current competitive landscapes and applying those findings in order to develop viable marketing plans, negotiate media buys, and ultimately leverage knowledge for client gain;
Working with team leads to define and document the overall scope of internal projects;
Supporting our teams in developing and implementing strategic recommendations around our innovative solutions, services, and industry trends.
What You Have
3+ years of demonstrated experience in a similar role;
A degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field;
Experience extracting and analyzing data of Omniture and Google Analytics (Coremetrics, WebTrends and others is a plus);
Familiarity with tag creation and reading tagging design documents;
Key understanding of, passion for, and utilization of digital media analytics, strategy, and marketing;
Prior marketing and analytics experience within a digital strategy agency or a similar setting in order to provide strategic direction and insight driven analysis;
A background providing marketing and analytics support to a variety of online media clients (ecommerce, non-profit, etc.);
Strong knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines (including marketing research, general marketing, advertising, direct marketing, customer care, etc.);
Proven experience creating and explaining dashboard reports;
Successful experience developing and managing expectations of internal teams, outside vendors, and clients;
Proven expertise in interactive marketing and advertising with an emphasis on Media & Entertainment, strategy and analytics; and business development;
Sound business acumen, strategic skills, common sense, and solid negotiation skills;
Proven ability to take direction and constructive criticism along with the ability to work independently;
Know-how to take projects to successful completion while multi-tasking, prioritizing, and working within tight deadlines;
A natural tendency to set goals, demonstrate a go-getter attitude, and take initiative with little oversight;
Creative thinking and analytical problem solving abilities combined with the natural drive to stay ahead of industry best practices and emerging trends;
Solid ability to gather large amounts of data and statistics and, in turn, provide concise clientspecific reporting and analysis;
Excellent interpersonal communication skills; comfortable presenting to multiple size groups.
