Our customer provides property information, analytics, and data-enabled services in North America, Western Europe, and the Asia Pacific. The company provides its services to mortgage lenders, brokers, credit unions, commercial banks, investment banks, fixed-income investors, real estate agents, MLS companies, property and casualty insurance companies, government agencies, and government-sponsored enterprises.
The project is developing rules-driven solution which will substitute existed core application of customer's loan business. The system is responsible for collecting, checking, comparing data of borrowers and lead them through full cycle of mortgage receiving. US legislation based on 3R (huge amount of rules, restrictions and relations) brings to the project a lot of challenges and fascinating valuable work.
Analyze/ collect/ create/ compare existing requirements for current implementation of system part and organize them into plan with user stories;
Communicate progress and questions with client;
Communicate with development and testing teams to provide user stories, diagrams, AC;
Coordinate overall development process;
Coordinate estimation to build system based on new architecture (HTML5 + Java + Spring Boot), etc;
Reverse engineering (collaboration with developers).
3+ years’ experience in business analysis within software development projects;
Ability to implement the processes improvement and drive changes;
Expertise in writing user stories (including acceptance criteria) & creating documentation from scratch;
Experience in customer relationship management and critical issue handling to meet client expectations;
Being detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-tasking;
Experience in Java development, CI/CD is a big plus;
Experience in financial domain (preferred mortgage market in USA) or credit origination would be a big plus;
Readiness to business trips (not regular 1-month travel onsite (Dallas, TX) possibly 3 times during the year);
Excellent communication skills;
Logical and structural thinking, ability to be step ahead mentally and predict potential consequences;
Emotional intellect and empathy: higher than average;
Leadership and proactivity, decision making skills;
English language: upper-intermediate as a minimum.
