What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and solution architects to develop data driven solutions for clients;
  • Work closely with key clients to understand their business issues, determine data requirements, and extract data for reporting purposes;
  • Gather and analyze requirements to develop impactful recommendations and solutions;
  • Translate data into insights and present to stakeholders;
  • Prepare data for creating, running, and modifying reports;
  • Build complex SQL queries to ask questions of large/complex datasets;
  • Use Technology Stacks (Spark, Airflow, Google Cloud, Python, SQL, etc.) to assist in Data Wrangling;
  • Participate in design, planning, implementation and testing of various modeling initiatives.

What You Have

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Commerce, Math, Stats or related fields;
  • Experience using SQL and databases to process structured and unstructured data;
  • Working knowledge of Python or R (or similar languages);
  • Fluency in presenting findings and translating data into understandable documents; you will need to write and speak clearly and easily communicate complex ideas;
  • Ability to take a big idea or a complex problem, mine data to create insights, and use those insights to establish a point-of-view on the idea/problem.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark or other Big Data environments;
  • Prior consulting experience;
  • Experience with Tableau or Google Data Studio;
  • Knowledge of statistical modelling or forecasting techniques.
