What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and operationalize a data platform as per RTI’s need;
  • Develop and document data architecture blueprints - data dictionaries, data flows, data models (Conceptual / Logical / Physical) etc;
  • Design and implement data integration strategies for a variety of internal and external data feeds through efficient ETLs;
  • Design and implement scalable, high performance data delivery platform that serves data to web and mobile applications;
  • Expert judgment will be required to balance various factors (ACID, CAP, etc.) in database design;
  • Hands-on participation in the development efforts related to data analysis;
  • Hands-on participation in the database administration efforts including Performance tuning of databases;
  • Evaluates different database technologies and proposes technical solutions to fulfill data needs of business;
  • Evaluates 3rd party data products and supports new product discovery/development by providing feasibility and effort/estimates to product managers;
  • Collaborates with cross-functional agile teams and support the development of consumer-facing data driven applications that support business strategy.

What You Have

  • Expert in building large scale data warehouses and data lakes (Snowflake);
  • Expert in Data Modeling (Relational, Dimensional etc.);
  • Expert in developing ETL processes and complex data migration strategies;
  • Expert in one or more programming languages for data analysis (Python, R, Unix Shell Scripting) and using modern data analytic techniques;
  • Experience working in an agile development environment with excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS);
  • Familiarity with Business Process Management suites. (Appian);
  • Familiarity with different relational and no-sql databases (Oracle, Mongo, Redshift etc.);
  • Familiarity with Data Visualization Tools/Libraries - Tableau, D3 etc;
  • Familiarity with one or more distributed version control systems and hosting services - Mercurial, GIT, GitHub, Stash etc;
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems Knowledge and experience working in projects involving Data Science, Machine Learning, and complex Data Analytics is a plus.
