Lead Business Analyst (E-Commerce Domain)

Currently we are looking for a Lead Business Analyst for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.

EPAM E-Commerce Solution Practice is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to play Principal BA role in a process of delivering “Next in class” E-Commerce Solutions. You will work on small (25+ people) to medium-sized (100+ people) projects in cross-functional & cross-location environments.

Responsibilities

  • Project’s:
    • Start new projects or streams and lead requirements gathering process;
    • Drive project kick-off in terms of baselining scope;
    • Drive onsite JAD sessions to define functional / non-functional / integration requirements;
    • Lead and organize work of BA team if required;
    • Be responsible for obtaining requirements sign-off;
    • Be responsible for scope management / change management process during solution implementation;
    • Run show-and-tell sessions with Business Users to demo ATG Platform and Solution capabilities, prepare business users for user acceptance testing;
    • Facilitate UAT process with the Customer and Delivery Team and obtain sign-off for delivered functional scope;
    • Participate in onsite meetings, support complex systems UAT and rollout to production onsite;
    • Act as a connection point between the Customer and Delivery Team.
  • Organizational:
    • Contribute to E-Commerce domain knowledge base development;
    • Participate in Pre-sale activities;
    • Contribute to BA competency development;
    • Participate in BA interviews per request;
    • Provide consulting in E-Commerce domain;
    • Play Mentor’s role for Junior BAs & newcomers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis;
  • Ability to drive requirements creation from the workshops with main Customer’s stakeholders to final demos and sign-offs;
  • Ability to manage a team of BAs if needed;
  • Experience with full project life cycle in an Agile/Scrum environment for fixed-cost projects, at least 3 fully participated and successfully delivered project;
  • Strong understanding of a full lifecycle development process from requirements gathering to rollout;
  • Client facing and business trips experience;
  • Scope management and change management experience;
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills;
  • Experience in working with 3rd party vendors and offshore teams;
  • English of B2 and higher level (speak briefly, high-quality written communication);
  • Ability to work under stress and with strict timelines and changing priorities;

Nice to have

  • Good functional knowledge and deep understanding of E-Commerce Omni-channel Retailing;
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Commerce or any comparable commerce platforms such as SAP Hybris/IBM Commerce/Ebay Magento;
  • Experience in integration with other E-Commerce ecosystem components including PIM, OMS, CRM, CMS, BI/Web analytics, Price/Payment/Loyalty Management Systems, Customer Service Center, Search Engines;
  • Working knowledge of Oracle products including ATG Commerce, Endeca Search, Endeca XM, WCS or similar stack on other platform.
