Our customer provides property information, analytics, and data-enabled services in North America, Western Europe, and the Asia Pacific. The company provides its services to mortgage lenders, brokers, credit unions, commercial banks, investment banks, fixed-income investors, real estate agents, MLS companies, property and casualty insurance companies, government agencies, and government-sponsored enterprises.
The project is aimed for migration of the existing ecosystem from AIX OS to Linux OS.
Currently, we are searching for a mature DevOps Engineer with strong self-management skills able to work with legacy systems (Bash, Jenkins, Ansible).
Take responsibility for the system health, understanding priorities;
Re-platform big enterprise level high-load application from AIX to Linux;
Participate in re-configuration of application topology on many new boxes and environments.
3+ years in IT overall, hands-on experience in systems engineering;
Experience in Bash scripting, Linux (AIX preferable);
CI/CD process implementation experience;
Familiarity with Jenkins support, including Groovy scripts and pipes modelling;
Proficiency in Ansible;
Experience in building and monitoring Batch processing schedule (cron or other);
Ability to read Perl;
Upper-intermediate English level (B2) or higher.
Nice to have
Expertise in Docker/Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform and Pivotal Cloud Foundry for upcoming projects (mentioned technologies are not considered yet, but under negotiation and expected for next phases);
Understanding of CORBA (big advantage);
Nexus, JIRA support experience.
